Why is there a mirror in the lift?

As the high-rise buildings spring up constantly.

We may walk up and down a dozen stories a day.

People certainly don’t want to climb the stairs.

So the lift has become an essential part of life.

We take the lift almost every day.

When we go to work、go home、go shopping.

What do we do first when we walk into the lift.

Probably look at your makeup,

then press the number of floor.

     If the lift is equipped with mirrors,people will have the illusion that the space will become larger.

     In addition to its cosmetic function, mirrors can also prevent and harassment.

Actually, That’s not really what it does.

     The mirror in the lift is designed to assist wheelchair users by asking them to confirm the location of the lift entrance, because it is not easy for them to turn around in the lift.

     People in wheelchairs have to turn their back to the floor button display when they enter the elevator. They can't see how many floors they are on.

     So the mirror has two other functions for people in wheelchairs. One is to see how many floors they are on?

     The other is when are you going to get off the lift?

     So the mirror in the lift is not for us to clean up our makeup, nor to guard against idiots, but to help the disabled.

      It is understood that setting mirrors in lifts is the duty of public transport agencies, especially in some public buildings.

       Although there is no strict restriction on the types of mirrors, mirrors are still indispensable.
